At AirEffect we respect your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. All personal information is handled in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
Where we collect your data
We collect information through our website, including when you use our AI assistants (Aria and Kaia), submit a contact form, book an appointment, or email, text or call us.
What we collect
Your name, phone number, email address, physical address, booking preferences and service details. Contact and booking information is provided voluntarily and with your authorisation so we can provide our services. Site usage is also measured through Google Analytics to help us understand site performance and improve the experience.
Our AI assistants (Aria and Kaia)
Our website uses two AI assistants. Aria answers questions about our services, and Kaia helps you book, reschedule or cancel a clean. To arrange your booking, these assistants collect details such as your name, phone number, email address, physical address and service requirements. This information is processed by AirEffect and its technology providers (including cloud hosting and AI service providers) solely to provide the booking and support functions described here. Conversations may be retained so we can confirm your booking and improve the service.
How data is captured
Directly, when you submit forms, chat with our assistants, or email us at info@aireffect.co.nz. Indirectly, through cookies and similar technologies. Third party cookies (for example Google and Facebook) help us measure visitor numbers and how people interact with the site. This information is aggregated and does not identify individual users.
How we treat your data
All personal data is treated confidentially and stored securely, with access restricted to AirEffect staff and the service providers needed to operate the website and assistants. Data sent through our website is transmitted over HTTPS.
How long we keep it
We keep your personal information only for as long as we need it to provide our services, meet our legal and tax obligations, and handle any follow up or guarantee claim. When it is no longer needed, we securely delete or de-identify it.
Sharing with third parties
Your data may be shared with service providers that help us operate, such as hosting, email, calendar, payment and AI providers. We do not sell your data, and we do not use identifiable customer data to train systems for other businesses.
Your choices and rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it. To update or remove your data, or to make a request, email us at info@aireffect.co.nz.
